How to make a compass in Minecraft
Compass in Minecraft games is an item which we use to point to the world spawn. It is quite easy to make and to find. You can find compasses in villages, strongholds and shipwreck chests, even librarian villagers often have one for sale. What if you cannot find one? Here is the recipe to make a compass in Minecraft for you.

How to make a compass in Minecraft
Required materials
You will need 4 Iron Ingots and 1 Redstone Dust to make a compass.
Iron Ingot: You can add iron ingot to your inventory in Survival mode by killing an iron golem or craft it by smelting iron ore in the furnace.
Redstone Dust: You can find Redstone Dust by mining redstone ore or craft blocks of redstone.
Steps to make a compass in Minecraft
Step 1. First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:
Step 2. To make a compass, place 4 Iron Ingots and 1 Redstone Dust in the 3×3 crafting grid in the exact pattern as the image below.
Step 3. Finally, you need to move the new paper to your inventory.
The compass helps you to points to spawn when viewed in any way, including as a dropped item, in a player’s hand, in an inventory or the crafting table, or in an item frame.
