• Land over the water so your parachute opens in the last second possible.

• Use higher buildings to land on them and jump down. By this way, you can loot the area before other players.

• Stay inside the bus until you are over the area you want to jump into.You will not have to spend time on gliding.

• Use your glider sideways. When you’re gliding down, this way will help you move much faster than going straight.

• Avoid hills, mounts or elevated terrain because they can make your glider come out sooner.

• Q: Brings you to the building menu instantly and defaults to build walls.
• F1, F2, F3, F4: Click these to cycle through your building options (ramps, platforms etc.)
• F5: You can place traps on almost any flat surface.
• RMB: When you’re in the building menu, simply right click to cycle through which material you’re using.
• G: Press this to edit an existing structure. You can add doors, create ledges and more.
• R: Rotate a structure.

For walls, ramps and flat platforms we’ve found these rebind options to be the best so far:

• Wall - Building option 1: Q or E
• Platforms - Building option 2: F or V
• Ramp - Building option 3: F or V

As an alternative, you could try this setup for building options:

• Wall - Building option 1: Z
• Platforms - Building option 2: X
• Ramp - Building option 3: C

If you've got a mouse with a couple of side buttons, you can assign building options to them for some seriously speedy building:

• Wall - Building option 1: Thumb Mouse Button 4
• Platforms - Building option 2: Thumb Mouse Button 2, or another key
• Ramp - Building option 3: Thumb Mouse Button 3

Build fast in Fortnite on Mobile

You need to setup a little bit to build faster in Fortnite Mobile.

Step 1. Go to Settings > HUD Layout Tool

Step 2. Put the blue button 0, 1, 2 as shown below. This will be your building buttons. Then, hit Exit.

Step 3.  Go back to Settings again, scroll down to Turbo Building. Make sure the tab is On. After that, hit Apply.

Step 4. Now, all three buttons will appear on your screen.

Okay now, to build, you have to switch into a “build mode” by hitting the dedicated button on the screen. Needing to switch over to build stuff, and then trying to add staircases, floors, walls, and roofs using the somewhat less responsive touch controls can cause some players to leave this essential aspect of the game alone when playing on mobile.
