#Method 1: Recover archived messages on Facebook

Step 1: At the main interface of your Facebook personal account, click on the message icon.

Step 2: Click on See all in Messenger.

Step 3: The message dialog interface appears. Here, we will click on the three-dot icon in the left menu of the interface. Then, choose Archived chats.

Step 4: From there, choose the desired chat to restore. Click on the three-dot icon, and then select Unarchive chat.

#Method 2:

Step 1: At the main interface of your Facebook personal account, click on your avatar.

Step 2: Click on Settings & Privacy.

Step 3: Choose Settings > Privacy > Your Facebook Information.

Step 4: Tap on View against Download profile information.

Step 5: Select file options first. Choose the date range that the message has been deleted.

Step 6: Then, scroll down and tick on Messages.

Step 7: Continue to scroll down to the end to choose Request a download.

Step 8: Once the file is processed, click Download.

Step 9: After the downloading process finishes, you can go to your PC’s download file and find a copy of your Facebook messages.
